The nexMPI COST Action invites you to the next webinar featuring Dr. Helena Gavilán (Universidad Complutense de Madrid).
This talk will address one of the key challenges in the field—scalable production of high-quality magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) while maintaining precise control over their structural and magnetic properties. Dr. Gavilán will present strategies for reproducible, gram-scale synthesis and discuss how nanoparticle design (shape, composition, agglomeration) directly impacts magnetic hyperthermia performance (SAR) and MPI signal.
Examples will include optimized nanostructures, such as nanocubes, enabling enhanced heating efficiency and imaging sensitivity for dual theranostic applications.
