The nexMPI COST Action successfully hosted the WG1/WG2 Hardware/Software Graduate Symposium, bringing together graduate students to present their innovative research and latest developments in Magnetic Particle Imaging (MPI) and related technologies.
The symposium provided an excellent platform for young researchers to share their work, exchange ideas, and showcase their contributions to advancing the field.
We are delighted to announce the two outstanding presentations selected by the symposium jury:
🏆 Best Presentation
Satılmış Furkan Kahraman, Bilkent University
“Guided Heating of Magnetic Nanoparticles Using a Hybrid MFH/MPS System”
🥈 Second Place
Florian Thieben, Fraunhofer IMTE
“Experimental MPI System Calibration and Characterization”
We extend our sincere gratitude to the jury members, Alexey Tonyushkin, Can Barış Top, and Lejla Alić, for their time, expertise, and careful evaluation of the presentations.
Congratulations to both award recipients and to all graduate students who delivered excellent presentations and shared their exciting research projects!
The nexMPI COST Action remains committed to supporting early-career researchers, fostering scientific exchange, and strengthening collaboration within the MPI research community.
